Heritage Landing is a residential setting located in downtown Chattanooga on the north shore of the Tennessee River between Girls Preparatory School and the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club.

The North Shore shopping district is within walking distance of the property. Close by Heritage Landing is Coolidge Park, Renaissance Park and the Walnut Street Bridge, listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest bridge in the world devoted exclusively to pedestrian use. At the other end of the Walnut Street Bridge is the Tennessee Riverwalk that connects downtown to Chickamauga Dam about eight miles upriver.

Other close attractions of note are the Chattanooga Theater Center, The Hunter Museum of American Art, the Tennessee Aquarium, and the Bluff View Art District. Also, in the vicinity are many local restaurants, movie theatres, art galleries, shops, banks, pharmacies, Greenlife Grocery and a free shuttle from North Shore to Southside.

Several excellent schools are nearby. Girls Preparatory School (GPS) is adjacent to the Heritage Landing property. Bright School (private elementary) is within three miles of Heritage Landing, as is Normal Park magnet school. McCallie and Baylor Schools are less than five miles from Heritage Landing.
